Page 2 of my duel with 's captain Maim!
Maim finally makes a (albeit brief) appearance. I need to bulk him out more when I finally draw him properly, I'll have to peruse some msucle-bound-guy pictures/superhero art and see if I can give it a proper go. Really beefy guys arne't my usual taste, so i don't tend to draw them (heck it's hard enough giving Tyran the muscles he needs), but i'll do my best

Anyways to this picture: Okurina's daydreaming and spots Maim through the window. He nturally gets he attention because..well just look at him! All excited (though whether about the mask or about the prospect of a fight we don't know) she dashes off to follow him.

I thin this will be the last page I upload in colour for a good while. I want to get the story done, then hopefuly I can return and colour/screentone them before the deadline runs out.
They'll still be inked though ^_~
(provided my ink doesn't run out *cough*. I've no idea where in this town I can get some more of it does!)

I realise I need to be more dynamic with my poses. It's something i really want to work on, at the moment it's stiff. I thin a bit more practice with anatomy and studying some cartoons shoudl help me along that road. Some of the SDLers have that movement down to an absolute 'T'!

*mechanical pencil
*normal skech paper
*coloruing crayons (WH Smith)
*photoshop for touchup, lines, speech and placing screentone in there.
